My plan was to stay in Cyprus for a few years, unfortunately that hasn’t worked out and I’ll be leaving soon. As mentioned the car has a belgian registration, as I haven't had the time or need to register myself here as a resident.
If you need help we can find a broker to register the car in your name.
Originally delivered in November 2013 in Cambridge, UK the car was taken care of by the previous owners, who did care about it and maintained it well, during my initial service, spark plugs looked very good, no sludge or “varnish” inside the cylinder head. Good Continental tires. And it seems the gearbox had already been serviced, a sign that the owners or mechanic knew what they were doing. But just to be sure I did a lot of preventative maintenance.
When I bought the car it had 75000km, and had been involved in a minor collision (pictures of the damage available), where the front bumper, bonnet, driver side headlight and radiator pack had been damaged. No structural damage. For some reason the insurance company wasn’t willing to repair and auctioned it off.
All of the damaged parts were replaced with OEM, OE or better than OEM.
As mentioned the car is registered in Belgium. Which means that when I offered the car for inspection/MOT, it passed with flying colours.
But don’t believe me see for yourself or your mechanic.
If you’re serious, I’m happy to bring it for inspection at your mechanic.
In terms of maintenance, this is what I have done so far.
